Training Sessions

In addition to our weekend meetings, we also run mid-week training sessions with qualified coaches. Our athletes really benefit from the extra activity not only in terms of skill level but also fitness. We have noticed significant improvement in those children that regularly attend training.

Coaching is available for all events and like our weekly programme, training sessions are planned on a four-week rotation. Furthermore, we train U6-U8s separate from the older children who need to focus more closely on technique. Training sessions usually start between 5-5:30pm and run for 1-1.5 hours. 

We are always on the lookout for more coaches. Parents that are interested in becoming a coach will be funded by the club to undertake coaching courses run by LAVic. Speak to Dylan Harrison about attending an Introduction to Training Course (ITCC).

  • U6-U8 training: Thursdays 5-6pm with Sue
  • U9 upwards training: Tuesdays from 5pm with Lexie

NOTE: the last training sessions of the season will run on Tuesday 10th March and Thursday 12th March in preparation for the club muli-event championship on Saturday 13th March.
