Registration Details

If you’re thinking about Little Athletics for your child, come down and have a look for yourself. Our registration and/or orientation days are usually held in September/early October and these are a good opportunity to have a look around, ask your questions and meet some of the committee although you can join us at any time during the season. A registration day is followed by a couple of weeks of orientation which helps us all get into the swing. New children find their feet and new parents learn the ropes too. Remember, we’re in it together. Competition proper usually starts around the beginning of October.

Once you've signed up and paid, the club will also give you registration pack full of information and goodies, including a club handbook plus registration barcode and competition chest plate. We attend external competitions and invitationals, hold a Christmas party in mid-December and a club multi-event competition in mid-March. The season closes with our family-oriented trophy presentation day and AGM in late March. There’s a lot to pack in!

Registration is only available online via the LAVic portal now. Payment is also made online by credit or debit card. Note that there is a small administrative charge for all online registrations.

This year’s season’s fees are shown below, with a $5.00 discount for returning members/siblings. This will be issued to members in the form of a $5.00 credit voucher for use in the canteen. Part of the fees go to LAVic for insurance and administration etc. and the rest are retained by the club. Fees for the 2019-20 season are:

  • Single athlete:                     $170.00
  • Family of two children:        $295.00
  • Family of three children:     $385.00
  • Family of four children:       $500.00

For your fees, you will receive six months’ worth of competition, access to state and regional events and competitions, winter cross country membership (Bayside XC) as well as the right to participate at any Little Athletics centre anywhere in Australia.
