A “programme” is the set of events in which athletes will participate during the course of a Saturday morning (or twilight meeting). For the most part, all age groups will do the same events with a few variations at the lower and upper age ranges (e.g. we don’t the little ones loose with javelins!) Our programmes are designed to run the events back-to-back with the minimum of delays.
Programmes are run on a six-week rotation with an early, special event scheduled for each week including javelin and race walks. These are done before the main meeting for safety reasons.
